Welcome to a city with rich history, the sunniest island in Adriatic sea, city Hvar. It is an unique fusion of beautiful nature, mild mediteranean clime and rich cultural and historical heritage. The name of the island is Greek in origin, from Pharos (lighthouse). Hvar gained glory and power during midlle ages being an important port at adriatic sea. Today, it is centre of island's tourism and one of the favourite destinations in Dalmatian riviera.

The main agricultural products in Hvar are wine, olive oil, lavander, rosemary oil and honey. The waters around Hvar have been known from oldest times for their rich concentration of fish. In 1991 the Island of Hvar signed the Declaration of the Central Dalmatian Islands - an Eco-clean Zone.
The oldest municipal theatre in Europe (built at 1612th) is located in Hvar. We recommend to visit the Franciscian monastery, fortress Fortica and St. Stephen's Cathedral.
During day you can enyoy in one of the Pakleni Island bays with perfect sea and climate and at night in lot of restaurants, caffe and night bars.
